PS (HIPS)
PS (Polystyrene) is a plastic obtained by polymerization of styrene. This polymer includes two sub-categories: Crystal Polystyrene (GPPS) and Shock Polystyrene (HIPS = High Impact Polystyrene). This material combines rubber elasticity and impact resistance. HIPS filament offers ease of printing comparable to that of PLA and mechanical characteristics close to those of ABS. It is also a good option to use as a breakaway or dissolvable (with Limonene) support material for ABS printing.
