PEEK

PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a high performance technical polymer, from the Polyketone family (PEK, PEEK, PEEKK, PEAK, PEEKK, PEKK, PEKEKK). It offers exceptional chemical and mechanical characteristics, namely: resistance to heat, wear, traction and deformation. Its high weight / strength ratio is often used to replace certain metals.

Categorized as semi-crystalline (30% crystalline and 70% amorphous), this material makes the printing process more complex, requiring some experience and a suitable 3D printer. PEEK requires an extrusion temperature of between 400 and 450°C, as well as a closed and heated printing chamber.

Sectors: Medical, Aerospace, Aeronautics and Automotive.
