  1. i find the instructions for installing the startt drive belt. I abviously have to cut the drive belt to length, but how to join the ends?

  2. You can use a zip tie to tie the belts together. Make sure the teeth of the belt line up with each other and tighten the zip tie around them completely. Cut off the excess zip tie. Make sure the belt is tight before doing this.

Since it seems iMakr disabled starting new threads, so I'm hijacking yours, Richard! Luckily, you probably won't care since it's been a year since you posted this, but thanks for bringing it near the top of the list for me, Yad. :)

    My new topic is this:
Why did iMakr stop selling the STARTT? Does anyone know?

I dont know why they stopped selling it but I do know I had a order to buy one before they took it down and they never shipped it and wouldnt even respond to messages about when it would arrive . That was back in the very beginning of october .

Do you want mine? All assembled. Could almost say never used - just never got it working right without a heated base. The filament would pull right off the base plate. Probably a post in here that would solve that. Nozzle clogged but could easily be cleaned out. Turned out to be too much fuss for me to mess around anymore with it. Posting on ebay - US tonight if you want to purchase. Will post it as STARTT 3D printer for parts by statefan12.
