PPSU (PolyPhenylSulfone) maintains its mechanical properties up to its maximum operating temperature of 180°C. It has good resistance to a range of chemicals and has higher impact resistance than PEI. PPSU can be steam sterilised and has superior hydrolysis resistance to other thermoplastics. Applications include: Aerospace, Aircraft, Automotive, Dental, Medical and Surgical instruments. The PPSU filament is based on the technology of Solvay. 3D4Makers filaments are ideal for 3D printing as they do not come into contact with water in their production, minimising moisture in the filament. The filament has 99% roundness and has diameter tolerence of +/- 0.05mm for 1.75mm and +/- 0.06mm for the 2.85mm filament. The PPSU Filament produced by 3D4MAKERS meets the ISO10993 for medical applications and meets the European regulations EC No. 1935/2004, EC No. 2023/2006 and EC No. 10/2011 concerning plastic materials and articles coming into contact with food and is also compliant with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for food contact. The colorants used by 3D4MAKERS to colour the Filament also meet these European regulations.
